We want to be “Christians only,” not the “only Christians.” As a non-denominational congregation we do not subscribe to any written creeds or denominational statements of faith, nor do we belong to any denomination. We are an independent group of Christians who seek to be dependent upon God. Christianity has suffered long enough from deep divisions separating denomination from denomination, Christian from Christian. When Jesus prayed “that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us” (John 17:21), He had us in mind. In the spirit of His prayer we seek unity with all others in Christ. Therefore, we choose to stand together with and affirm other churches that believe and teach the Bible to be authoritative and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As Christians we believe we have a responsibility of transmitting God’s truth to the next generation.

It is impossible to digest the word of God down into a few brief statements. With that in mind the following statements give a summary of some of our foundational beliefs.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who died for our sins and arose from the dead.
–I Corinthians 15:1-8

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, “a lamp unto the feet and a light unto our path.”
–II Timothy 3:16

We believe that every person has worth as a creation of God, but that “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”
–Romans 3:23

We believe that the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord.
–John 3:16

We believe that those accepting Christ should repent of their sin, confess their faith in Christ and be baptized (immersed) into Him.
–Romans 10:9
–Acts 2:38

We believe that the Holy Spirit lives in every believer to guide and to produce the fruit of the Spirit.
–Acts 2:38
–Galatians 5:22-23

We believe in the weekly observance of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion).
–I Corinthians 11:23-26
–Acts 20:7

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ on earth and exists to save the lost and build up the saved until the return of Christ when all believers will go to heaven to be with Christ for eternity.
–Ephesians 4:1-16
–I Thessalonians 4:13-18
